despite her young age, hatsuko is the head maid at the yuri manor through her dedication and skill.tired by her home life, originally, hatsuko came to the capital to move in with her grandmother, the previous head maid for toichiro. following her grandmother's passing, she took over as head maid upon nomination by the other servants. is well-trusted within the yuri household, and is known for being a workaholic.at first, hatsuko can seem expressionless or cold, but she's a softie who isn't really good at expressing herself. she hates not being busy, living up to her name as a workaholic.can often be seen arguing with shizuki, but this is more of a tiny rivalry/bickering; she respects him a lot, but at the same time, sometimes feels inferior in terms of ability.is not aware that shizuki or toichiro are ayakashi... for now."Shizuki? He's a wonderful valet. On top of that, he's incredibly skilled at everything... I can't help but try and catch up to him."

known for being toichiro's personal valet, and in the shadows, happens to be a snow spirit. no, he isn't batman. unfortunately. quiet and reserved in the manor, nobody truly talked to him before... until hatsuko fully took over and became the head maid.it's not like they NEVER talked before; he remembers asking her a couple of times where the tea set was after the servants cleaned up the kitchen. but at the same time, he didn't really hold that much interest in hatsuko.things started to change as they started to work together, though. he eventually found it incredibly fun to talk with her.shizuki doesn't doubt hatsuko's ability; she's very incredibly capable and is great at her job. he does think that she should take a break sometimes, though. why is she awake at 3am pruning the bushes??? has been caught trying to consume alcohol.he finds it fun to mess with her when they start to bicker; one of their longest feuds revolves around the fact that hatsuko can't pour milk tea like shizuki."Ah, the Head Maid? She's very responsible and very qualified for her job. It's very admirable that she has goals for herself that she works hard to achieve."
